Joe Theismann

Joe Theismann played 12 years in the NFL as a quarterback for the Washington Redskins leading the team to two consecutive Super Bowls and winning Super Bowl XVII. A two-time Pro Bowl selection, Theismann won the 1983 NFL MVP.

Joe holds numerous Redskins’ passing records including yardage (25,206), completions (2,044) and attempts (3,602) and ranks in the NFL’s top 50 all-time in those categories.

Joe also played in the Canadian Football League for the Toronto Argonauts and was an All-American while at Notre Dame.

Author of “Theismann,” his autobiography, and “The Idiots Guide to Understanding Football Like a Pro.” He also owns two Virginia restaurants.
