Drew Brees is the Quarterback for the New Orlean's Saints in the National Football League (NFL).
Prior to signing with the Saints, Brees played five seasons for the San Diego Chargers after being
drafted with the 1st pick (32nd overall) in the 2nd round of the 2001 NFL Draft.
After being cast aside as a player unfit to start in the NFL, Brees has excelled and has been named to
two Pro Bowls. In 2004, after an impressive season, Brees was named the NFL Comeback Player of the Year.
Brees attended Purdue University where he finished in the top-4 in Heisman Trophy voting his final two years and won the Maxwell award in 2000. He left Purdue with most major Big Ten Conference passing records.
